The Jigsaw Strategy
Jigsawing is a co-operative learning strategy that gives students opportunities to develop insights and gain access to a broad base of information through purposeful interaction with a large number of peers. A visit to the IPM is an excellent opportunity for students to share information learned at the IPM in a co-operative learning setting that encourages meaningful talk, interaction, collaboration and interdependence. Jigsawing can be used at any grade level.
