Come out on September 18th – 22nd 2012 to Waterloo Region’s hamlet Roseville to celebrate the 99th edition of the plowing match! The plowing match returns to the region for the third time and we hope to reach the same success of the 1995 plowing match that was held in Ayr.

Our committee members and our dedicated volunteers are confident that attendance will be above the high set mark of over 100,000 people. With the large span of activities that we at the IPM2012 have available, particularly under the Reminiscence Journey, we are positive that the 99th year will be one of the most successful editions.

The Reminiscence Journey is one like never before with daily cultural performers, speakers and activities along with plowing competitions, and local exhibits.  There will be something for everyone to enjoy!

Entertainment will expose the four cultural groups that influenced our regional lifestyle. Events will include First Nations drumming and dancing, a Pennsylvania-German barn raising, Scottish highland dancing and a Bavarian celebration! Our goal is to showcase the legacy that has made international plowing match and rural expo what is it today while incorporating a new legacy that explores and celebrates cultural diversity and we can guarantee that this year’s match will provide a traditional but new experience for everyone that visits!
