183 years ago my ancestors settled here in North Dumfries Township and passed down farm family traditions that have made me who I am.

Walks down the lane (love of the farm), gathering around the kitchen table (love of family), and “jam sessions” at the piano (love of music).

Grandpa Barrie dedicated years of his long life to developing plowing in Ontario. This in turn instilled in me a desire to paticipate in my community as Queen of the Furrow.

I have been writing songs at the piano since I was a very young girl. The song “Meet Me’ expresses my love for the land, my family and my community.
