The 2012 Waterloo Region IPM Advertising and Promotions Committee have been very busy this winter bringing awareness of the September 18 – 22, 2012 IPM. They attended shows in Toronto, London and Ottawa selling souvenirs and our Great Outdoors raffle tickets.
Alex Krajewski, a well-known artist from Cambridge, has painted a wonderful work of art for a poster that will advertise the 2012 International Plowing Match. The artwork was well received when unveiled in March at the Ontario Plowmen’s Association Annual meeting in Stratford. The poster will be available for distribution later this month.
Pictured are Ray Dedman, President of the Ontario Plowmen’s Association, Courtney Connors, Ontario Queen of the Furrow and Anne Dedman helping to sell souvenirs at the Ottawa Farm Show. You may have also spotted us at the Elmira Maple Syrup Festival in March and the Drayton Farm Show in April.
