Several volunteers from the 2012 Waterloo Region IPM Committee recently attended the Toronto Farm Show held at the Toronto International Center February 8-10th 2011. The volunteers staffed a booth to promote the upcoming 2012 International Plowing Match to be held in the Region of Waterloo near Roseville, Ontario, September 18-22nd, 2012. Prescott Russell, in Eastern Ontario, will be hosting the 2011 IPM. Members of the Prescott Russell team as well as the Ontario Plowmens Association also participated at the Toronto Farm Show event. Hundreds of attendees stopped at the booth, inquiring about several aspects of the upcoming IPM in Waterloo Region. The show was considered a great success for promoting the 2012 IPM,and the anticipation of this major outdoor international event is rapidly building.

March 9-11th will see the teams promote the events at the London Farm Show, and then it’s on to the Ottawa Farm Show the week of March 14th.
